Home Before Dark is a great read! I’m not usuall Home Before Dark is a great read! I’m not usually one to love ghost stories so even though I am huge Riley Sager fan, I hesitated before reading his latest release. But... I sure am glad I went ahead and gave Home a Before Dark a try. Only issue is that it started to feel a bit long. That said, my attention is not great right now so the ‘too long’ thing might not have been the book’s fault. Any other readers out there who enjoyed (or didn’t enjoy!) this one? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I’m not sure how it took me so long to discover I’m not sure how it took me so long to discover Elizabeth Acevedo. I am so grateful that @fictionmatters & @chelseyreads from @novelpairingspod introduced me to this amazing author. My perfect book is what I call a ‘well written page turner.’ Truth be told, I am will to sacrifice a little of the well written part for the page turner part cause finding the two qualities in the same book is nearly impossible. But you guys- I couldn’t put this book down and at the same time, I had to stop and re-read passages (which I almost never do) because the writing was just so beautiful. I can’t wait to hear from you all. Share all the Acevedo goodness with me and if you haven’t read her yet, please do!
