Celebrate This Week: January 24

Saturday has almost completely passed but I don’t want the day to get away from me without participating in my new favorite link up, Ruth Ayers’ Celebrate This Week.
This week, I celebrate
1. Snow! I hate the cold but I have to admit that I like a good snowstorm or two. I like that it slows things down and changes the scenery.
2. Snow covered trees.
3. And snow covered dogs.
4. School concert days.
5. Time to see a thought provoking movie with Rob. If you haven’t seen American Sniper yet, I highly recommend it. It was very disturbing on a number of levels but I think it’s an important movie to see.
I love your photos! And, even though I’ve never lived where it snows, your description of it slowing things down was very nostalgic 🙂
Perhaps I should have been careful what I wished for as we prepare for this next round of snow! Yikes!
Love all of that snow. It has been years since my children have been able to enjoy lots of snow. Sigh. Gorgeous girl ready for a concert!
I think I shouldn’t have sounded quite so positive about the snow. We are predicted to get between 2 and 3 feet overnight and in to tomorrow. Wasn’t exactly what I had in mind!
