Stay-cation: Photo Walk Two
by Stacey
After our first stay-cation adventure, to Nyack on Friday, Saturday finally brought warm enough temperatures for us to venture in to the city. For the past few years, I have heard fun things about NYC’s High Line, an elevated park created on a mile long stretch of abandoned train tracks. Our visit there did not disappoint. There were flowers, architecture, art, sweets and even a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty.
These are awesome and enjoyed day one too. We are ALL about the staycation here!
I am starting to really like the stay-cation as well!
Thank you for sharing the corner of your world! I always love seeing others’ travels, even if they are staycations. 🙂
Thanks Hallie!
Looks like a wonderful day! I haven’t been to NYC in YEARS, I’m waiting till the kids are older, before I brave that one.
I totally understand Allie. My youngest loves NYC but my oldest is not a fan. It can be a tough place…
What a fun place to visit! It’s been years since I’ve been to NYC and my kids have never been. I can’t wait to fix that when we move back to New England this summer. I’ve loved seeing your photos from your stay-cation!
I didn’t realizing you were moving to New England? What part? I grew up in Rhode Island 🙂
I grew up southeastern Massachusetts 🙂 We’re not sure exactly which town yet but my husband will be working at the ANG base in Newburgh…right now we think it will be somewhere in the Litchfield County area of CT. Will that be anywhere near you? We should have a bloggy get-together!
I would love to get together! So fun! We are in northern New Jersey now but still not too far away. Do let me know when you decide where you’ll be and when you are settled 🙂
